Friday Thoughts

I’m so happy today is Friday.  It was screen free week at my son’s school and because he tends to be a rule follower, it was a long week of good old fashioned family fun without a TV to keep my three kiddos entertained.

Tessa and I have been working on so many fun projects for clients lately that it’s kicked a spark in me to get some of my own home projects done so here are some random things that have caught my eye recently…maybe they’ll inspire you a little too!

I’m finally starting to nail down some countertop for my kitchen and think I have decided on this beauty:

This beautiful slab is Bianco Macaubas quartzite and the vertical lines make me giddy with joy!

I also love this curved molding around the doorway and hope to do the same in my dining room.

I’m in love with this light from Restoration Hardware.  This would look great down a hallway.

Ballard Designs hit it out of the park with these lovely barstools!

And, what a perfect gift for Mother’s Day is this Mom Engraved Idiom Bangle from Kate Spade!

Signing off to start my weekend a little early.  I look forward to Mother’s Day and not only because I am a mother, but also because it’s a day to thank my own mother for all she does for me.  My mom deserves a special shout out for being one of the best mothers, friends, listeners I could have ever asked for.
