Client Project Update

For the past few months, we’ve been working with a great couple helping them update their master bathroom. This is the design we landed on with them.

We had a chance to go and check on progress yesterday and thought we’d share a few progress shots…

Client Master Bathroom

The porcelain floor is just gorgeous. It’s the perfect balance of gray and taupe so it’s not too cold.

And here you can see a peek of the shower floor which is a hexagon marble with inlay. The shower walls are a simple white subway tile with dark gray grout. There will be a bench in the glass-doored shower that is just a marble slab.

Mirrors and sconces will go in next week along with paint. We’re planning on doing a very light greige on the walls, then doing a patterned roman shade on the window. Will keep you updated!

  1. Wow, just stumbled across your blog and LOVE your work. This bathroom is stunning! We are just about to start on construction of a (very small) master bath – our first house – and we’re having trouble sourcing some of the materials, namely flooring that is beautiful but not marble. Do you have any suggestions for sources? Thanks so much!

    1. Hi again, just following up on my previous question (which you approved for the comment section). Loved the floor tile you showed in this post – do you have any info on the sources or advice for bathroom floors (marble or otherwise)? Thanks so much!

      1. Hi Rachel–yes, sorry saw your comment and meant to respond! We love porcelain flooring for the bath. It’s great looking and affordable. Pick a long, lean board like 6×24 or 6×36. We were just at Home Depot last week and they had a couple of good options for around $3/sq ft. Then, you can splurge on marble in a smaller area like the floor of the shower. We find better prices for marble online, but always request a sample because you want to see it in person. Hope that helps and best of luck with your project!

  2. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT ALL!! Great job — they are going to be so happy!! What a beautiful bathroom!!
