Home Feature

Today’s home feature will leave you feeling peaceful and wishing you could remove color from your home!  This beautiful, serene space belongs to Monika Hibbs, a blogger from Vancouver. Her  home was featured on last month’s Style At Home spread and Tessa and I couldn’t stop dissecting each photo.

Her all-white home is filled with texture and different woods which makes it still feel warm and inviting.

So many things to discuss in this photo:  white floating shelves, beautiful collection of white vases and the perfect gold frames!

Okay, let’s go back to discussing those white floating shelves.  I LOVE this idea rather than building large bookcases flanking a fireplace.  So simplistic and not overwhelming.

Love these light fixtures!

I was so happy to see ghost bar stools instead of something with a nickel finish which I think must people tend to do in white kitchens.

I’m a huge fan of a mini office in a kitchen and this one’s pretty perfect in my opinion–simple and clutter free!

Love the beaded, beveled mirror-unexpectedand and it works.

I don’t know if I would be happy with an all white bedroom, I tend to like bedrooms that are a darker color but I would love it if this were my guest room.  Don’t you love the light fixture?

White paints can be a bit tricky because sometimes they lean a little pink or blue.  Here are a few tried and tested white paints that are the perfect white!
