It’s no surprise that I’m a fan of West Elm. I love their eclectic store and I think no matter what your design style is, whether traditional or modern, you can always find pieces to fit. I also think they have great gifts for any occasion, so I was even more intrigued when I went to their website a few days ago and saw a new section called Marketplace.
After speaking with public relations for West Elm they informed me that some stores carry these special ‘marketplace’ items but not all stores. And of course some of the larger items will not be carried in stores at all, such as these awesome retro refrigerators:
Not sure I could have one of these in my kitchen but in the garage or basement it would look cool. And they come in six other colors.
Love the design of this sleek looking stove with six burners.
Ever since living in London where everyone has an electric kettle I have been wanting to get one. Not only could I have a cup of tea in an insant, it would also make cooking oatmeal for my kids in the morning a snap.
I’ve been seeing gold plated silverware pop up in lots of decor magazines lately. These are priced much more reasonable at 29.00 a set.
Loving this bookshelf on wheels.
These garden hoses are so much cuter than their brown and green contenders at Home Depot. Added bonus is they resist kinking.
I’ve always wanted a plant mister…maybe not to use (I can’t seem to keep plants alive), but wouldn’t it look cute on a stack of books?
Maybe these for my new (I haven’t convinced my husband yet) open shelving in the kitchen? Glass and wood is always a great mix.
Okay, maybe this mason bag is meant to hold tools but I think it would be the perfect weekend get-away bag.
And a perfect gift to bring to a hostess of a dinner party is this adorable salt mill.
How cute are these soap dispensers?
This item is not part of their ‘marketplace’ collection but I think it’s such a great option and couldn’t resist sharing. If any of you are looking to create an island in your kitchen, this one is priced just right.
Stainless steel combined with rustic wood is always a winner!
I’m headed to my local West Elm this weekend so I will be sure to recap next week on what I find.
That’s an awesome retro looking fridge! Good point though, it would have to be one special kitchen to take on such an appliance.
I LOVE the tea kettle! Might have to upgrade mine!!!!
