Love the eclectic look it has–traditional, but with a little flair and a very collected feel like someone lovingly chose each piece to display. I’ve been thinking about changing up my front entry and I love the colors in this one and all the layering of interesting pieces. That being said, when you look at an inspiration shot, you don’t have to copy it exactly. Here’s my thought on where this could go…
Any dresser could really end up looking like this–have something already or found a cheap piece on Craig’s List? I chose this cheap IKEA dresser, a great navy paint from Benjamin Moore and these lion’s head ring pulls replace the existing knobs.
As you can see, I didn’t copy everything exactly, but kept the overall palette and organic feel of the inspiration shot. I decided on a simpler red lamp because it was easier to find and more affordable than the original lamp. You could certainly put new mattes on the fruit artwork, but instead I found this print on Etsy and loved the green/chartreuse colors in it.
