Everything old is new again. I remember in grade six I had a fab pair of floral jeans and well, I just bought my daughter a pair of pink floral jeans at Baby Gap this weekend! So, now 20 years later…ok, 25…flowers are back big this spring.
As featured in my latest adoration Adore Home Magazine. Honestly, I think the only thing I’d go near though is the tea cup. Just can’t embrace that chair at all!
This room is a little much for me, but the watercolor inspired pillows could look good mixed with a more graphic print and a simple lamp shade
One of the hottest florals right now is Schumacker’s Hot House Flowers–a beautiful modern, large floral print with the perfect balance of blue, red, orange and lots of white to balance the rich colors. You can find the prints all over Etsy:

These designer fabrics like the Shumacher one can be expensive though–around $150 a yard so the pillows end up being expensive too. This is a great suggestion from Marissa Waddell Interiors — Waverly Formosa at $15 a yard! Unfortunately it’s no longer available in this color, but JoAnn Fabrics has it on sale in “noir”

I really like the idea of doing a black and white floral–two trends in one, but it works and tones down the femininity of the floral
