Style At Home never disappoints me when they publish home features. Tessa’s mum is here visiting from Canada and was kind enough to bring us the back issues. We came across this fun, colorful and family-friendly home that both Tessa and I love!
Can you believe that’s DIY art – inspired by a real Meredith Bingham piece.
This kitchen was transformed by painting the cabinetry and adding the extra-long subway tile on the black splash. I wish we could see the before pictures.
I’m loving the gray peninsula which was painted dark to hide dings and spills from kids. Slipcovers cover the bar stools which allow for a tailored look but still kid friendly. I love these bar stools and they were a great pick to go with a dark peninsula.
If you read yesterday’s post, then you know I’m a fan of the non-matching pillows on a couch. This is a perfect example of doing just that. The pops of yellow are just what this room needed.
The built-ins were built and function well for storing baskets that hold magazines, toys and remote controls.
The twin bed was moved to be placed lengthwise along the wall to create more floor space for playing. Adorable!
Enjoy the weekend and we will see you back here on Monday!
The kitchen island color is perfect for Hawthorne!!
