The Expedit system is one of my favorite purchases from Ikea. I love the clean lines, quality, and let’s not forget–the great price! The system comes in many sizes and colors so it lends itself to work in so many different rooms. I find it useful especially in kids rooms and playrooms–endless amounts of storage and most important, it comes with brackets so you can anchor to the wall to keep those kiddos safe!
Here’s a photo from my daughter’s room:
Or, it can be seen in our playroom too!
In this photo I flipped the Expedit on it’s side to serve as a bookcase and a bench in our playroom. By the way, the map is from Ikea too!
Tessa uses it as a console behind the couch in her playroom.
But check out some of these other great rooms where I found the Expedit system.
How adorable is this doll house using the frame of an Expedit?
This is a great option for a changing table and dresser. The drawers are sold separately so you can use two narrow drawers in a square or one large deep one. As my kids get older their toys become smaller so I think the narrow drawers would be perfect for all of those small toys that would normally get lost in a big basket.
Love how they stacked the Expedit on top of each other to create floor-to-ceiling bookcases!
Or, use it to create the perfect storage in a office!
Jump on the bandwagon and use it to organize a room in your home. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
I need some of these!
Rachel-These really are great! When you come out in October you will have to stop by Ikea!
