Yesterday Tessa showed you ways to pair hide rugs over sisal. While this is a hot look, not everyone wants hide in their house, me included. There’s something about seeing hide spread out on my floor that doesn’t sit quite right with me. That being said, I really love the shape of a hide rug.

Flor recently came out with a DIY “cowhide” rug in the Rake Me Over color of your choice. When you order your set, it includes the tiles with the pattern drawn on the back that you cut along with a carpet knife to assemble your rug. This way, you get that interesting, kind of free-flowing option shape that comes with a hide rug without the actual hide!
I love this new option and think it’s the perfect solution for those of us that aren’t keen on seeing animal hide in our homes. Thanks Flor!
