Don’t you love the crisp look of a striped awning–such a cute preppy look.

Awning stripes are popping up everywhere this spring from fashion like this adorable little blazer by Juicy Couture…
…to home decor…
Outdoors always makes sense for stripes

You can always count on Serena & Lily to do a trend just right–these new Sundial outdoor chairs are phenomenal!

Keeping the color scheme consistent, stops these stripes from being too overwhelming…at least I think so!

Love this child’s room! Especially how the designer brings the eye up by mounting the awning stripe roman shade at the very top of the wall–since there isn’t any molding, this (along with the map hung high) creates interest and height.

A rug is a super easy way to bring in the trend

Or, accessories always make sense as a safe way to incorporate trends–like this canvas play tent

Pottery barn and Pottery Barn Kids also has some great bedding right now–sometimes they refer to it as rugby stripes as well.
Just about to get Lucas a green and blue rugby striped carpet for his new room from PB – what a coincidence! Does this mean chevron is out, stripes are in? I can’t keep up! 🙂
Ha! I know, right…can’t keep up. Do what you like is what I say. 🙂
I’d rather just do what YOU like!
