A friend posted this picture of the cutest little ice cream cone on her Facebook page (thanks for the pic, Liz!)
It’s Sunday night, the kids just went down and looking at this picture, I want to scarf down a carton of mint chocolate chip ice cream! Ok, instead I’m going to focus on the pretty colors and show out they could come together in a few rooms…not quite as fun, but it’ll have to do.
Mint green and brown are such a pretty combination for a bedroom–you can see from these two rooms that the key to creating dimension is not just using the same shade of minty green–it’ll be more interesting if they’re mixed up
Gorgeous cottagy bathroom feels modern in mint green with dark wood floors
Speaking of bathrooms, check out this unusual set up–love the shelves painted mint green (in my next life I want to be organized enough to have shelves like these in my bathroom–Amy could do it!)
If you can look past the amazing range and hood, check out the soft mint green on these cabinets–would have been too much to also do the island, but works perfectly with the brown and black and white walls. And yes, that is tile all the wall up–ridiculously delicious kitchen!!
Or, do the island mint green and cabinets white–grey pairs beautiful with this shade of green
If you’re doing a smaller, more private area like a laundry room, go for a fresh bright mint
If you’re going to embrace the color, go all out and embrace it…I don’t even know what to say about the total gorgeousness of these floor-to-ceiling mint green bookcases by Kelly Wearstler. Against the brass…yum.
And finally, such a welcoming color…
I still want the ice cream.
