I’m in love with the House Beautiful Kitchen of the Month in their December/January issue. Designer Caitlin Wilson was behind this beauty. You can follow Caitlin’s blog here.
This kitchen had me at the beautiful brass library light above the kitchen window. And the brass hardware is just icing on the cake in this kitchen.
And any updated kitchen these days wouldn’t be complete without those famous Hick pendants. I always love a kitchen design when they mix high and low…these barstools are from Ikea.
Probably the most amazing thing about this kitchen is the floor. It’s actually porcelain tile laid in a herringbone pattern.
The beautiful farmhouse table paired with those chairs are the perfect combination–the added chandelier is beautiful and unexpected with a rustic table and cafe chairs.
Oh, and if you are looking for chairs like the ones above you can find them here.
I love seeing that faux-wood tile (I too laid ours in a herringbone pattern in our master bath!) and did you know that the mirror over that fireplace was only $30 at target? 🙂 what do you think about the window treatment in the kitchen? it struck me as out of place…
Send a photo of your master bath! yes, I was shocked when I saw the mirror was from Target and only 30.00. The window treatment I thought was a nice touch of softness in a relatively industrial kitchen. =)
