I’ve been seeing a lot of these pom pom curtain panels over the past year. Such a fun way to add a feminine feeling to a room; a little touch of the bohemian life.
I spotted them in this fabulous nursery by Kristin over at the Hunted Interior. (Note the screen she has behind the crib is the same one from World Market that I used as a headboard in my guest room.)
Or, check out this big girl room from blog Chris Loves Julia (I adore the blanket at the end of the bed!)
Sarah Richardson is also a fan of the pom pom curtain…
PB Teen currently carries these blackout versions (blackout a MUST for kids’ rooms in my opinion!)
Restoration Hardware baby & child also has some that come with a matching valence–a little more formal, traditional look than the bohemian PB Teen ones.
Serena & Lily also has them in all different colors
But, pom pom trimmed drapery does not have to be limited to a child’s room…
I love how Elizabeth over at Little Black Door also used darker versions to add a touch of whimsy to her living room
And here’s another great example of how they can look chic and grown up
These are also a great DIY project. Type “pom pom curtain” into Pinterest and you’ll find lots of options for tutorials and inspiration shots like this one from blog Stacy + Charlie‘s bedroom reveal.
Looooooooove pom poms. And tassels. (Not that kind.) Can’t get enough!
I am soo not a pom pom kinda gal… but I LOVE this!
Thanks ladies for the shout out. 🙂 I’ve never met a pom pom I didn’t like.
