West Elm Favorites

One of our favorite stores is West Elm–they’re creative yet accessible and we love how they do features with limited edition products–Etsy, Allegra Hicks, Morocco, etc. This month’s catalog has Tessa written all over it thanks to a whole feature on South African items. Here are a few of our West Elm favorites both from their special collection and overall…

This rug would look add a graphic punch to any room.  I love the diamond shape pattern

Who needs a hammock when you have this gorgeous chair underneath a shade tree.  Perfect spot to curl up and read a book!

Montauk Chair

Adorable for a nursery, playroom or even to add some decor to a stack of books. Since my last name is Bird, I’m a sucker for anything that resembles a bird.

This console would look great in an entryway, bedroom (to hold a tv) or even a buffet in a small dining room. Love the rustic wood that would go with modern or traditional decor.

I’ve never met a pendant light that I didn’t like and this one is a steal for $149.00. This would look great in a formal dining room, kitchen, even above an island. Don’t just think you should be limited to a small pendant, one giant, oversized drum shade would look great over an island. This would look fabulous in a kid’s room as well–boy or girl.

These Tonga baskets are beautiful and functional. Hang them as a set of three or five for a dramatic art installation or use just one on a coffee table.

I really might have to get this bench for my entry–love the shape of the legs.

John Vogel bench

I absolutely adore these Senegalese lidded baskets. They’re perfect to brighten up a nursery for toy storage, as a laundry hamper or even at the back door as a place to throw shoes in.

Senegalese Basket

West Elm trays are definitely a favorite–I have three in my house in different colors. This raffia one is amazing because it has so many different tones and adds nice texture to a room–perfect on an ottoman in the family room.

And, finally, this is one of my favorite pillows–sure, it’s 100 degrees outside right now, but I have the large one in the corner of my family room sectional and it’s great to curl up against and watch a movie whatever time of year it is! And, it’s on sale right now.

Happy shopping!
