Instead of looking at gorgeous homes to feature for today’s post, I was looking at these images of my own yard yesterday…

and here’s the view of our street

These storms resulted in some water in our basement which we spent most of the day trying to contain before it ruined the carpet. However, after the rain slowed down a bit, I took a much needed break lying on the couch and looking at my latest Better Homes & Garden magazine. I was pleasantly surprised to see a familiar room on the front cover.
Remember when Tessa and I went to Ikea to hear one of our favorite bloggers, Erin Gates of Elements of Style speak? Well, her apartment was featured in the Better Homes and Gardens May issue.
I didn’t have much luck downloading the photos online so you will have to purchase the magazine if you want to see this incredible home. I promise, it’s worth it! However, here are a few photos Erin shared on her blog that didn’t make it into the magazine.
Love this pillow combination!

The styling is perfection in this shot, thanks to all of the different heights of accessories.

I’m loving this eclectic mix of accessories ranging from antique to modern.

Her gorgeous office–how inspiring to work in this room
