Martha Stewart Living Home Feature

Have any of you seen this month’s Martha Stewart Living?  I’m dying over the midcentury-modern home feature in Los Angeles belonging to Jed Lind and Jessica de Ruiter.  Home features like this one makes me crave those clean lines and crisp white walls.

The carrara “waterfall” is gorgeous!  Not sure I would go the carrara route with children but there’s nothing more classic looking than marble. I love it paired with a light wood like it is with the built-in bookshelves.  And, I’m beginning to have a soft spot for light floors these days.

This simple bench in the entryway is what everyone needs.  And it’s made out of plywood!?!

I’m a broken record….but you all know how much I adore open shelving!

Plywood never looked so good!

Plywood made it’s appearance again in their daughter’s bedroom.

When in doubt, add some brass to a room!  Works every time.

Wow!  A chevron door? This is my favorite entry door EVER.

I wasn’t expecting such a great home feature in Martha Stewart Living.  It’s usually the one magazine that I subscribe to that I don’t rush to read right away.  It might get moved to the top of the pile from now on!
