Ladies! Quick…click here to see some eye candy.
What kind of a blog do you think this is? Shame on all of you!
Now for some real eye candy (and a lot of information about Midwest gardening and outdoor living spaces.) A quick update to my previous post on container gardening, you should definitely check out a couple of upcoming events: Chalet Garden Center in Wilmette is hosting two events on June 14th with Jamie Durie, host of the popular HGTV series “The Outdoor Room with Jamie Durie”. Click here to purchase tickets. Even if you’re not interested in gardening who could resist a cutie pie like Jamie?
Ahhh, he definitely inspires me!
I am just now thinking about my porch containers as well and thought I’d pass on this bit of advice. I don’t remember where I heard this, but when choosing plants for containers, pick something to “thrill, spill and fill”–i.e. some plants that are high and thrilling, some plants to spill over the sides of the container, and some plants to fill in the middle ground between the thrillers and spillers. Always a good tip! I like your idea of having your containers coordinate with your interior design so it’s one cohesive idae.
Love that idea.
