Ever see a room that you love…love except for one little thing. I came across this beautiful bathroom, fell in love and had to share…
I can’t get enough of that gorgeous blue grasscloth (I might have to do that this weekend in my bathroom!), the sconces, the amazingly cool pendant, the wood framed mirror that ties in so beautifully with the floor and the garden stool that brings the blue of the wall into the rest of the room. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
Perfection…almost… there’s just one little problem in this room for me: the cafe curtains. Yes, I get it, you want privacy without losing natural light. But, these just feel wrong in such a beautiful room–kind of like a last minute thought to cover the windows. I would have chosen a simple roman shade with the cord on the left side so that you can easily pull them up and down as needed.
We get asked a lot about things in rooms that we really like–I think sometimes it’s just as important to realize what isn’t working! Ok, I still love this room, but when i recreate it, I’ll do it without the cafe curtains!
