Nursery Sneak Peek

Baby number three will be making his/her appearance in less than 5 weeks. So, these days I find myself nesting and organizing every closet in the house (I’ve done the linen closet twice in the last week!) and putting the final touches on the nursery. When my husband suggested we not find out what we’re having, panic took over. I became concerned about how I was going to create the perfect nursery while making it non-gender specific. However, I must say this is probably my favorite nursery I’ve designed. I love the color palette and because I made an effort to have the room cozy and inviting without being really babyish, this will be a room that will grow with my child.

Here are a few of my inspiration shots that I used when creating my nursery:

You might recognize this nursery from a “Fashioning a Room” post we did. The colors in this painting helped me pick a color scheme for Baby #3’s nursery.

I chose this nursery because I love the gray walls with the pops of orange and pink.

Throwing in the turquoise accents is the perfect complementary color!

So, here’s a sneak peek at my nursery! Thanks to Tessa’s sister-in-law Lacey for taking some of the pics–it’s hard for me to maneuver for a good angle these days! More final shots to come when the room is completely finished.

And, now I’m off to organize another closet or maybe Tessa’s handbag!
