I feel like I get more home projects done in the summer–maybe since it’s so darn cold after say, October, that you can’t do anything that involves painting outside! So, I thought I’d give you all another DIY idea for this weekend. Chevron pattern is hot in home decor, but like many trends, who wants to spend a lot of money following them? So, I came across this great idea for customizing a plain dresser and had to share!

IKEA’s Trondheim 6-drawer dresser works well because the drawers are recessed and, therefore, contain the chevron trim well, but any plain ol’ dresser could work. Here’s a link to the drawers pulls as well.
