Kid’s Bathroom Feature

As Tessa mentioned earlier this week, we’ve been working on a master bathroom for a client.  It’s been fun but also makes me re-think our master and kid’s bathroom.  I’ve been a follower of 4men1lady blog for awhile now and have always ‘filed’ away her kids bathroom remodel for a someday plan!  There are few great tricks that if you are in the midst of doing a bathroom remodel, definitely check out some fun features of this bathroom she designed for her three boys.

I have never seen tile used on the ceiling before so was intrigued by this look.  I also love the recessed nooks that were created instead of using those corner shelves that are glued into the shower.  It’s a nice way to bring in another pattern to the monochromatic white subway tile.

It’s no secret that I would take down every towel bar in every bathroom and replace with a giant hook.

Isn’t this recessed medicine cabinet disguised as a frame brilliant!  Love this idea especially for a kids bathroom that is being shared by siblings.  Let’s face it, every teenage needs more storage for hair products-boys and girls!

Take a close look at the vanity….

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!  So wish my kids had this so I wouldn’t trip over the step stool every time I walk into their bathroom.

Probably my favorite feature of this bathroom is that beautiful toilet made by Kohler called, the Saile.  Look closely…no cracks or  crevices that hide  yellow ‘stuff’.
