Five Great Brass Chandeliers

Hope everyone had a great weekend and a great Mother’s Day either celebrating yourself, your mum or both! It was a gorgeous day here and I got breakfast in bed, a pedicure and then we all biked to the beach. Perfect way to spend the daily. I’m a lucky girl. Even had time to prep for our client presentation this morning. We’re working on a combo living/dining of a condo for a retired couple who is moving to our area to be closer to kids and grandkids. As we started to search for lighting for the dining room, we kept seeing all these great brass chandeliers with shades. The shades balance all the metal and keep it from being “too much.” Here are five we think are worth sharing…

Brass Chandeliers with Shades

1. We’ve said it before, Ballard Designs can be such a good source for lighting and this Ramona chandelier is so good.

2. The Owen chandelier in hand-rubbed antique brass is so slim and beautiful. It would really go with any decor and would even look great over a big island.

3. This Devon six-light chandelier has some weight to it, but the circular shape and bright white shades keep it from feeling too heavy.

4. Ebony and brass = perfection. This Ventana 2-Tiered Chandelier has been on our list of favs for a while now and comes in different sizes, sconces, etc.

5. If I were to switch out the light in my dining room, I think I’d choose this Ziyi chandelier by Visual Comfort. I love how linear it is so the finishes are traditional, but the shape is totally contemporary.

We all know brass is back and switching our a pendant over your table is an easy way to modernize and bring in a little trend.
