Two Inspire Design Design Services…and you could win them!

As a special Thanksgiving thank you to our readers and in honor of the official launch of our design services (yay!!) we’re giving away a Two Perspectives Design Board. Have a room in your house that needs a little help this holiday season? We’ve got you covered. Just leave a comment telling us which room you’d like help with and why and we’ll randomly pick one winner this Friday!

If you’re local, we’ll drop by your house and following a consultation, we’ll present you with some inspiration shots and a detailed design board with specific suggestions for purchases. Not local? Not to worry! We’re used to this, so if you win, you’ll just send us some pictures with a little description about what you’re looking to get out of the room and in turn, we’ll provide you with inspiration shots and a design board for how you might execute a change in your choice room.

One caveat…the winner’s room and design board will be featured in an upcoming post.

Here are some examples of design boards we’ve recently completed…

  1. My kitchen needs an up-date –from 1986. Great bones, but tired coverings…Do you travel??? Have some ideas to refinish cupboards in white paint, but not sure about laminate counters…HELP!

  2. I would love to see your vision for our master bedroom!! Like so many parents, we’ve worked on many other rooms in our home, but have completely neglected what should be one of the most important ones….the master bedroom. It has good bones (vaulted ceilings and a fireplace), but I don’t even know where to begin so I just keep putting it off. I want it to be a room that both my husband and I just love. Please help!! 🙂

  3. Hi Tessa and Amy. I am so in need of your design services! For the past 10 years, we have been renovating our classic Chicago ranch (ie uninspired 1950s box) and FINALLY completed the last big project: our 2nd story addition. The problem is the new stairwell to the 2nd floor has changed the layout of our living room and affected the flow. It’s the first room you enter and a total dud right now but I’m at a loss as to how to style and configure it and what pieces it needs. We also have a very open floor plan so it needs to flow with the rest of the space. I think after all this time and renovation, my well of inspiration has run dry. I need some help and inspiration from Two Inspire Design!

  4. Would love your help with a home office. My husband just took a job where he will be working from home more which means we actually need to unpack the boxes we’ve stashed in the office. It would be starting from scratch- needs flooring ideas, paint colors, furniture, window treatments. HELP!

  5. Me me! Yo yo! Ich ich! 🙂 It would be wonderful to have your help on decorating a small guest room. My brother is coming from Chile to visit us and I would love to have a room where he can feel comfortable and welcomed.
    Have a great Thanksgiving everybody!
    Best regards,
    Briscila

  6. Help!! we moved over a year and a half ago and our office space is STILL hideous….imagine red carpet, paneled walls………….please help make this small space functional yet something I can be proud of!!

  7. Hi Amy and Tessa,
Carrie G. speaks so highly of you! It would be great to have a little help with our extremely small and drab living room – we need window coverings for a couple of awkward windows and some accessories (pillows, table lamp…) to add some character to the room.
We also have a master bedroom that has furniture from 1999 – I would love to have a relaxing place to retreat to after our very energetic boys are asleep at night!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  8. Hi Tessa,

Sorry we missed you on your visit and congrats on #3! Not sure how you feel about out-of-state projects, but I figured it’s worth a shot. Mark’s office is a disaster and needs help! It’s a beautiful, large third floor space with lots of character and potential that can easily fit office and lounge areas. It currently houses his office filled with random furniture and very little workable storage. In a house full of estrogen, I’d love for him to have his own masculine space where he can both work and escape!

    Help and happy Thanksgiving!

  9. What an exciting and fabulous opportunity!! I could use some help with accessories for my house, especially the dining room, living room and office. I am happy with the furniture, but could use some help finishing the rooms and making them look more polished. I have lots of bookshelves and would love some suggestions for styling!

  10. Hi Tessa and Amy!
I would LOVE help with my kids’ playroom. Its an open room that I thought would be amazing when I bought the house. But now that I’m in… I’m finding it always looks messy. Everyone can see it the minute you walk up the stairs. And since I dont have a door to shut, I’d like an easy and attractive way to hide all the toys (in 5 minutes if someone decides just to pop round!!!).

I dont want to put too much furniture in it because we want the kids to really feel like it is their room (not a grown up room). I’m not sure what to do with the shelving, or the seating, and the carpet is ugly but it has to stay…. I’ve thought about basically buying a pottery barn playroom but I feel like I could get it for so much cheaper if I had any skill at all! anyway- this room has me beaten at the moment!!! Would love your expertise!

  11. Hello! I would really love your opinions on my weirdly big living room. I have a fireplace, a vaulted ceiling, huge high windows on two walls, gaudy columns, oh and a big blue circle couch. Yeah….

My dream is for it to be a cozy place, but it’s so big that I can’t figure it out. I always feel like visitors are uncomfortable when we are all hanging out in that room.

Thanks for this opportunity. Will be reading no matter who is picked!

  12. Help! Soon, my boys – who have been sharing a bedroom – will each have their own rooms and I need help converting their current shared room into my 8 year old’s newly independent space! He will keep the bunk beds and dresser – but I don’t want him to feel as though he’s just been ditched by his big brother, and want to help him make his space his own, with a place for his tball and soccer trophies; Lego cars, trucks and helicopters he puts together; and any other creative solutions for his small (but his very own) space! Thanks ladies 🙂

  13. We’ve been in our house for one year yesterday and while we’ve made some progress and I have a vision, often my vision just doesn’t come to fruition because of time and budget. I would love your input on either the master bedroom which is a very large open space with vaulted ceilings – literally a blank canvas. Or what we can do with our kitchen, it needs an overhaul. Since I purchased a foreclosure, the bank just threw up some of what I think are bathroom cabinets all over, a cheapo sink and called it a day. It’s horrible, with no storage, and the storage that is there is all so small I have to angle plates to get them in cabinets. The only thing that will stay are the appliances. I’ve come to feel that while open canvases are great (both in graphic and interior design), they’re often the most challenging! Would love your input and vision for some realistic design inspiration!

  14. This is for the design service contest. The room(s) I have in mind is my living room/dining room (combined). I just purchased new furniture and had the carpets removed and wood flooring installed. I have no accessories and am in desperate need of a consultation as to how to give the space a finished look . . . this, to me, is the most difficult part of decorating.
    Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving.

  15. Hi Inspired Designers,

I would LOVE some help for my second son’s nursery. He is 18 months old, and his room is in DESPERATE need of a makeover. The space was moderately decorated when it was my first son’s room, but it is now almost four years later, and looking a little worse for wear. I would love for it to be a room that he could grow into. He’s still in a crib, but is days away from being able to climb out…not unlike his very active older brother who was in a “big boy bed” at 18 months after hurling himself over the sides! The crib converts into a bed, and ideally we’d like to keep it. Help please!

    K
